末日惡菌

港B染末日惡菌

復活節旅遊旺季將至，港人往內地或海外旅遊需分外注意個人衞生，提防感染「末日惡菌」返港。香港大學首次發現，去年本港一宗幼嬰感染NDM-1泛耐藥腸桿菌科細菌的個案，其母親原來也是帶菌者，且兩人都曾到過湖南一所醫院，懷疑惡菌從該院感染。幼嬰腸內的惡菌亦有可能是新一種NDM-1基因圖譜。專家建議，外遊人士若有不適需盡快返港求醫，當局亦應加強檢測措施，以防惡菌在本地落根。
